Fast approaching is our Christmas Social Night. It's a chance for all members and enthusiasts to meet and enjoy and evening of music.

Many of our members will be playing songs to get you in the festive spirit, with Robert Thorn finishing the night off.

Please feel free to come along and join us in the festivities at Crosshills Social Club.

Accordion Concert

The Craven Accordion Orchestra are in Concert at the Linden Road Community Centre in Earby, Saturday 26th September 2009. 

The Craven Accordion Orchestra’s programme contains a varied selection that will appeal to all tastes; from popular standards, light classical to modern film theme music along with the traditional and big band sound.  

The evening will also feature National Championship finalists from the 2009 season. Special Guest is Thom Hardaker, who is currently a student of the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory, St. Petersburg.

·      The concert starts at 7.30 pm

·   Tickets are priced at £2.50, Concessions £2.00, Under 16's £1.00 and Under 5's FREE.

Thom Hardaker plays on ITV Calendar News

Craven accordionist Thom Hardaker, member of the Craven Accordion Orchestra made an appearance on ITV Calendar News on Thursday 16th July 2009 after winning first place in the international class of the Baltic Accordion Festival in Russia.
 
Thom is currently studying with renowned accordion master Professor Oleg Sharov at the Rimsky Korsakov Conservatoire of Music in St Petersburg. In the past few months thom has played with the Minsky ballet, Russian orchestras, and at the week-long Baltic Accordion Festival.
 
Harry Hinchliffe said: "Thom represented the UK in the international class and had to play in a qualifying round to achieve the final.

"Not only did he qualify for the final round, he won the overall event."

Well done Thom!
